Fear not return Polar-Side? 

When you leave "Station", your sled can be empty or have a little space. 

Load above the porridge and / or fish, and unload the food in other regions. So you'll always have a little stock to return without problem or to make several trips between two distant stations

(eg.: Polar-Side and Aery)
